The female reproductive system is an intricate and delicate part of the body. One thing to keep a keep an eye open for is ovarian cysts. These cysts are sacs crammed with liquid that are located on the ovaries. A lot of girls will experience cysts during their lives and never know it. Not all cysts are dangerous. [However ,] they might be a symptom of polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS. Ovarian cyst PCOS is caused by a disequilibrium in sex hormones that may interrupt menstrual cycles, interfere with fertility and lead to other serious health issues.
Androgens ( male sex hormones ) are essentially produced routinely in small amounts in the ovaries. But when too much is produced, the hormones become imbalanced. Signs of this may include hair growth on the face and body, missed periods, difficulty getting pregnant, depression and weight gain.
